Originally from the rural north-east of our state, Chris’ interest in nature is a reflection of his younger years spent observing wildlife in the Victorian countryside.
He graduated from Monash University with a double major in Zoology, and Marine and Freshwater Biology, and from The University of Melbourne with a Master's of Science in Zoology.
During his time as a Master's student, Chris researched the reproductive ecology of Albert Park's iconic Black Swan population.
He is the current Managing Director of Wild Melbourne and pursues his interests in science and natural history through the mediums of film, photography, and written communication.
