Sarah has been drawn to the outdoors since her earliest days with a childhood spent traipsing around a family friends farm near the Mitchell River and exploring the coastal areas in and around Cape Patterson.

Sarah graduated from Monash University with a double degree of Science and Education majoring in Biology and Secondary Education. She has applied these in different areas of community education around Melbourne’s South-East for the last four years by developing programs to engage young adults with the outdoors and local environments.

Sarah also has a great interest in music and plays the flute, saxophone and clarinet with several community bands. She is working towards her Certificate of Performance on Flute and loves the idea of playing music in outdoor spaces to expand the experiences of those around.
