Nature engagement through visual media...

We use professional photography, cinematography and sound design to tell engaging stories about our natural world and those who study and conserve it.

We work closely with scientists and conservation groups to help them tell their stories in order to inspire and encourage others to appreciate our natural world. We have worked with scientists from Deakin University, Monash University, The University of Melbourne and Charles Sturt University. We also work closely with conservation groups including Conservation Volunteers Australia, FAUNA Research Alliance, Parks Victoria and Zoos Victoria. See below for examples of our work, or visit our YouTube page.

The iconic Black Swans of Albert Park near Melbourne's CBD have been studied for over eight years by biologists from The University of Melbourne. In this short, we speak with Professor Raoul Mulder and his PhD student Anne about their work on this highly urbanised population of waterbirds.

We produced this video for Conservation Volunteers Australia and FAUNA Research Alliance to help promote their initiative to Rewild the Little Desert.

Wild Melbourne is also currently working on a documentary film that will explore our community’s relationship with the natural world. For more information, head to our documentary page.
